This work was created as part of the Artist in Residence residency in America at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA). It is a tribute to siMONA Ledl’s time in Washington DC, when life surprised her with unexpected experiences and many things turned out differently than expected.

The path of the heart is clear, but the mind is not always on the same wavelength. But isn’t it also the path of the heart that makes experiences really come alive? Not just in relation to love, but to life in general.

If we dare to listen to our heart, it teaches us how varied and refreshing life can be.
