Exhibition: 27th Int. Landscapepleinair

Artists experience the Lower Oder Valley National Park – topic “alluvial land”

For the fourteenth time in a row, the Schwedt / Oder art association organized the international landscape plein air. 13 national and international artists and I were invited this year to deal with the subject of “alluvial land”. For almost two weeks we were able to get inspired by the nature of the national park in the lower Oder valley. The diverse results will be shown in the exhibition following the plein air in the “Galerie am Kietz”.

In this symposium I dealt with the animal world and its natural habitat. The only medium I used was nature from the national park, so each of my works in the plein air contains a piece of alluvial land from the lower Oder valley. By combining nature as a painting medium and the animal world as a choice of motive, I was able to create a connection between flora and fauna.

Explore, discover, integrate – material from nature, discovered treasures – squeeze, dip, scratch, paint – is the blaze of color before your eyes?
